Christian de Jesús Rodríguez Mejías.

What is your position in the company?
Second Mate

What do you like most about your job?
I can say it is one of the best things that has happened to me in life, my job is my joy. Learning internal aspects of the ship has also been a fascinating part of this experience.

What do you think is the most important skill that a successful professional in your field should have?
Communication is really important when you have guests aboard the ship so being able to speak English is a good skill to have. And always being willing to learn a new skill!

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
Fishing and spending time with family.

Describe an interesting hobby or pastime you have.
Fishing! I do it on and off the clock.

What is a dream you want to make come true someday?
Working my way up to becoming a captain.

What is something surprising that not many people know about you?
I have enjoyed climbing trees since age 7.

What value have you added to this team that no one else can?
My sincerity and supportive energy.

What is your favorite memory of working in the company?
Releasing a black marlin!

What do you like most about your job?
Honestly, the fishing.
