Pacific Fly

The 42-foot Pacific Fly once fished the waters out of Marina Pez Vela, but beginning in the 2019-2020 season joined the other Maverick Costa Rica fleet at  Los Sueños. With a top-notch crew and tournament-winning equipment, Pacific Fly was prominently featured in Salt Water Sportsman magazine. The legendary Captain Minor Oport was once the first mate in the Spanish Fly where he earned his chops as a tournament winner. Now in his role as captain, he has shown his continued to hone his skills and is one of our top performers. Pacific Fly’s first mate is “Mungia,” boasting more than 15 years of experience of great customer service and incredible fishing. Ian Oporta, second mate, is one of the youngest on the team with an excellent future in fishing. He works as a mate during the day and at night he studies preparing for the future. Pacific Fly has recently been completely renovated, and the crew is delighted to be back on the waters to catch as many fish as possible.
